Saturday Academy – LCL Walking Tour & Augusta Museum

Join the 100 Black Men of Augusta for a special Saturday Academy mentorship experience as we take our youth mentees on a guided walking tour of downtown Augusta, exploring the rich history and legacy of Lucy Craft Laney, a trailblazing educator and community leader.
During this immersive experience, mentees will visit significant historical landmarks and gain a deeper understanding of Augusta’s African American heritage. The tour will be followed by a visit to the Augusta Museum, where students will engage with exhibits that highlight the city’s cultural and historical contributions.
This is a unique opportunity for our mentees to connect with history, learn valuable lessons of leadership and resilience, and see firsthand the impact of those who paved the way for future generations.

Dress Code: Comfortable walking shoes recommended
