Summer STEAM Program
Welcome to the 100 Black Men of Augusta Summer STEAM Program! We are excited to offer an immersive and enriching experience for students interested in exploring the dynamic world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Our two-week program, facilitated by dedicated Richmond County teachers, is designed to inspire, educate, and empower students through hands-on learning and engaging activities.
Program Overview
Our Summer STEAM Program takes place over two weeks between June and July, providing students with a unique opportunity to dive deep into STEAM subjects in a supportive and collaborative environment. Through a blend of interactive workshops, project-based learning, field trips, and guest speakers, participants will gain valuable skills, knowledge, and confidence to pursue their interests in STEAM fields.
Program Highlights
- STEAM Workshops: Students will engage in hands-on workshops covering a wide range of STEAM topics, including robotics, computer programming, engineering design, multimedia art, and scientific inquiry.
- Project-Based Learning: Participants will work on exciting projects that integrate STEAM concepts and technologies, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Guest Speakers: Accomplished professionals and experts from various STEAM fields will share their experiences, insights, and career pathways with students, inspiring and motivating them to pursue their passions.
